The Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University was conceived at the same time as Stanford University itself. The Center's diverse collections span continents, cultures, and 4,000 years of art history. (

The Muybridge photography collection here boasts over 500 images. There is also a replica Zoopraxiscope at the Center.
