Short Introduction

Brighton and Hove Museum is based in the South East of England, and includes a particularly strong craft aspect in its collection.

The Muybridge collection here consists of approximately 150 photogravure prints from Animal Locomotion 1887.

Past Exhibitions

A selection from Muybridge’s 'Animal Locomotion studies' (1887) is currently on display at Hove Museum in a small exhibition called “Moving Image”. They are on display from the 9 March to September 2010
