Short Introduction
The Bill Douglas Centre for the History of Cinema and Popular Culture contains both a public museum and an academic research centre, housing one of Britain's largest public collections of books, prints, artifacts and ephemera relating to the history and prehistory of cinema.
The collection contains approximately 67 Muybridge-related items, including The Complete Human and Animal Locomotion (Volumes 1 2 & 3) and a range of special collections items such as postcards, optical toys, posters and ephemera.

10am to 5pm Monday to Friday, except bank holidays. The Museum is closed between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day.
