Short Introduction

The Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University was conceived at the same time as Stanford University itself. The Center's diverse collections span continents, cultures, and 4,000 years of art history. (www.museum.stanford.edu)

The Muybridge photography collection here boasts over 500 images. There is also a replica Zoopraxiscope at the Center.
