Short Introduction
The University Archives preserves and makes available for research historically significant documents and other materials that reflect the University's origins and development as well as the activities and achievements of its officers, staff, faculty, students, alumni, and benefactors. The University Records Center provides records retention and retrieval services that assist faculty and administrative staff in the ongoing operation of the University.
Muybridge highlights include various photographic equipment, 705 collotype prints and books such as 'Prospectus and Catalog of Plates, 1887, and 'Descriptive Zoopraxography or the Science of Animal Locomotion', 1893'.

Holiday closures:
The Univerity Archives is closed on official University holidays, including the Friday of Thanksgiving weekend and the week between Christmas and New Years Day.

There are no permanent displays, but all items may be viewed by the public.
